Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (90g) rolled oats
  • 1 cup (240ml) milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup (120g) plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons (48g) peanut butter
  • 1 scoop (about 30g) protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
  • 1–2 tablespoons (15-30ml) honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon (12g) chia seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • Optional toppings: sliced banana, chopped peanuts, dark chocolate chips, berries, extra peanut butter drizzle

Instructions

  1. In a jar or container, combine 1 cup rolled oats, 1 scoop protein powder, 1 tablespoon chia seeds (if using), and a pinch of salt. Stir to distribute evenly.
  2. Add 1 cup milk, 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, 3 tablespoons peanut butter, 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  3. Stir thoroughly until the protein powder is fully dissolved and the peanut butter is evenly distributed. A small whisk works best.
  4. Seal the jar tightly and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight (8-12 hours).
  5. In the morning, stir the oats. If too thick, add a splash of milk. Top with desired toppings and enjoy cold or microwave for 30-60 seconds for warm oats.

Notes

For best texture, use rolled oats (not instant or steel-cut). Warm the peanut butter for 10 seconds if stiff for easier mixing. If meal prepping, leave toppings off until ready to eat. Oats keep in the fridge for up to 5 days. Add a splash of milk if they thicken too much.
