A festive, healthy Halloween snack featuring fresh fruit arranged in a candy corn pattern with a creamy, tangy yogurt dip. This easy 5-ingredient recipe is perfect for parties and offers a guilt-free alternative to traditional candy.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large navel oranges, peeled and separated into segments
  • 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
  • 2 crisp apples (Fuji or Gala), sliced into thin wedges
  • 1 cup red or green seedless grapes
  • 1 cup clementine segments
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the plain Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed. Set aside in the refrigerator to chill.
  2. Wash all fruits thoroughly. Peel the oranges and clementines, separating them into segments and removing any pith.
  3. If using fresh pineapple, cut off the top and bottom, peel, remove eyes, and cut into chunks similar in size to the orange segments. If using canned, drain thoroughly and pat dry.
  4. Slice the apples into thin, uniform wedges, removing the core and seeds. Toss immediately with a little lemon juice to prevent browning.
  5. Wash and pat the grapes completely dry with a paper towel to ensure they don’t dilute the dip.
  6. On a large platter, arrange the fruit to resemble candy corn. Start with a yellow base using pineapple chunks, followed by orange segments overlapping or next to the pineapple, and finish with white elements using apple wedges or grapes.
  7. Place the bowl of yogurt dip in the center or at one end of the platter. Serve immediately for the best texture.

Notes

[‘Pat all fruit dry before arranging to prevent the dip from becoming watery.’, ‘Use cold Greek yogurt to keep the dip thick and refreshing.’, ‘Toss apple slices in lemon juice immediately after cutting to prevent browning.’, ‘Assemble the tray as close to serving time as possible to maintain crispness.’, ‘For a dairy-free option, substitute Greek yogurt with unsweetened coconut yogurt.’]
