A simple and elegant grazing board featuring creamy brie, salty prosciutto, honey, and seasonal fruits, perfect for casual entertaining or a cozy solo indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 small wheel Brie cheese (about 8 oz / 225 g), room temperature
  • 4 to 6 ounces (115170 g) thinly sliced prosciutto
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons raw or local honey
  • Seasonal fruits (choose from): Summer – fresh peaches, blueberries, figs; Fall – crisp apples, pears, grapes; Winter – clementines, pomegranate seeds, persimmons; Spring – strawberries, apricots, cher…
  • About 1 cup (120 g) mix of crunchy crackers and sliced baguette, lightly toasted if desired
  • Optional: A handful of toasted almonds or walnuts
  • Optional: A few sprigs of fresh rosemary or thyme

Instructions

  1. Take the brie out of the fridge about 20 minutes before assembling to let it come to room temperature. Cut into small wedges or leave whole with strategic cuts.
  2. Gently fold or roll the prosciutto slices into loose ribbons or rosettes and place in small clusters on the board.
  3. Wash and slice larger fruits like apples or pears into thin wedges; keep smaller fruits like grapes or berries whole; slice figs or peaches into quarters. Arrange fruits around the cheese and prosciutto.
  4. Fan out crackers and baguette slices in open spaces on the board; toasting bread lightly is optional.
  5. Scatter toasted nuts in small piles around the board and tuck in fresh herb sprigs for garnish.
  6. Just before serving, drizzle honey over the brie and some fruit sections. Serve extra honey in a small bowl with a honey dipper if desired.
  7. Fill any empty gaps with extra fruit or crackers to make the board look abundant and inviting.

Notes

Use room temperature brie for easier slicing and better texture. Drizzle honey just before serving to avoid soggy crackers. Prep fruits and nuts a day ahead if short on time, but assemble just before serving. For dairy-free, swap brie with cashew-based cheese and prosciutto with turkey or vegan deli slices. For gluten-free, use gluten-free crackers or sliced cucumbers instead of bread.
