These Halloween Oreo Spider Web Cheesecake Bars combine a creamy cheesecake filling with a crunchy Oreo crust and a spooky spider web design, perfect for festive parties and easy to make in under 45 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 Oreo cookies, finely crushed (about 1 ¾ cups)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 ounces (450g) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Crush Oreo cookies finely using a food processor or by pounding in a sealed bag. Mix crushed Oreos with melted butter until combined. Press mixture firmly into the bottom of an 8×8-inch baking pan. Bake for 10 minutes to set crust, then cool slightly.
  2. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Add sugar and beat until incorporated. Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing fully after each. Stir in vanilla extract and sour cream until batter is smooth. Avoid overmixing.
  3. Pour cheesecake filling over cooled crust and spread evenly. Bake for about 25 minutes until edges are set but center jiggles slightly. Turn off oven, crack door open, and let cheesecake cool inside for 30 minutes.
  4. Transfer pan to refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  5. Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips in microwave-safe bowl in 20-second bursts, stirring until smooth. Drizzle melted chocolate in concentric circles over chilled cheesecake. Melt white chocolate chips similarly and transfer to piping bag or zip-top bag with a small corner cut. Pipe straight lines from center outward over dark chocolate circles to create spider web pattern. Use toothpick to drag lines from center to edges to sharpen web effect. Let chocolate set.
  6. Use a sharp knife dipped in hot water and wiped dry to slice into 12 bars. Serve chilled. Optionally, decorate with small chocolate spiders or candy eyes.

Notes

Soften cream cheese to room temperature for smooth batter. Add eggs one at a time to avoid cracks. Bake at 325°F for gentle cooking. Cool cheesecake slowly in oven with door ajar to prevent cracking. Use warm melted white chocolate for smooth piping. Slice bars with knife dipped in hot water for clean cuts. Chill bars fully before slicing for best texture.
