Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (e.g., Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1/2 cup thick, creamy ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • A few drops green food coloring (gel works best)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning (1 oz)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Soften the cream cheese at room temperature or in the microwave on low power until pliable but not melted.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Mix in the buffalo sauce and ranch seasoning packet until the mixture is uniform and orange.
  5. Fold in the shredded chicken and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Pour the mixture into an 8×8 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Mix the remaining ranch dressing with green food coloring.
  8. Drizzle the green ranch over the top in a circular motion from the center outward, then add spoke-like lines to create a web pattern.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are bubbling and cheese is melted.
  10. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving with chips or vegetables.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps. Use thick ranch dressing to maintain the web pattern. Let the dip cool for 5 minutes to thicken before serving. Can be made ahead by mixing all ingredients except the green ranch drizzle up to 24 hours in advance.
