An easy-to-assemble Thanksgiving charcuterie board featuring sliced turkey, sharp cheddar, brie, cranberry jam, and various crackers and nuts. Perfect for holiday gatherings, this low-stress platter serves as a bridge between the main course and dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 pound sliced turkey (deli cut or leftover roast turkey)
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, cubed or sliced
  • 1 small wheel of Brie or Camembert, sliced or wedges
  • 1/2 cup goat cheese, crumbled
  • 2 cups mixed crackers (water crackers, whole wheat, seeded breadsticks)
  • 1 cup pretzel rods or twists
  • 1/2 cup roasted nuts (pecans or walnuts)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce or jam
  • 1/4 cup whole grain mustard
  • 1 cup fresh fruits (grapes or apple slices tossed in lemon juice)
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit (apricots or figs)

Instructions

  1. Prep ingredients: Cube the cheddar, slice the brie, and chop the bacon into small pieces.
  2. Place small bowls on the board in a triangular formation and fill with cranberry sauce, mustard, and nuts.
  3. Arrange crackers and breadsticks by leaning them against bowls or fanning them out to add height.
  4. Place cheese cubes and slices around the crackers, distributing them evenly and grouping similar cheeses.
  5. Fold or roll turkey slices and place them in open spaces, or create mounds if using chopped leftover turkey.
  6. Fill remaining gaps with bacon, nuts, dried fruit, and fresh fruits like grapes and apple slices.
  7. Step back to assess the board, add more items if sparse, and wipe any smudges off the board.

Notes

Allow cheese to come to room temperature at least one hour before serving for best flavor. Do not leave the board out for more than two hours for food safety. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days; toast crackers to restore crunch if needed.
