Ingredients

  • Aged Cheddar, 8 oz, cubed
  • Brie, 8 oz wheel
  • Smoked Gouda, 6 oz, sliced
  • Candy Corn, 1 cup
  • Chocolate-Covered Pretzels, 1 cup
  • Gummy Worms, 1 cup
  • Caramel Popcorn, 1 cup
  • Prosciutto, 4 oz, thinly sliced
  • Salami, 4 oz, sliced
  • Green Grapes, 1 cup
  • Dried Apricots, ½ cup
  • Baby Carrots, 1 cup
  • Water Crackers, 1 box
  • Pumpkin-Shaped Crackers, 1 box
  • Honey, 2 tbsp
  • Pumpkin Butter, ¼ cup

Instructions

  1. Choose your board and arrange the bowls: Place small bowls on the board first. Fill one with honey, one with pumpkin butter, and one with candy corn. Space them out.
  2. Place the cheese: Start with the brie wheel in a central spot. Place cheddar cubes in a small pile to one side, and smoked gouda slices in another.
  3. Add the meats: Fold prosciutto slices into loose ribbons and place near the brie. Arrange salami slices in a small fan pattern nearby.
  4. Fill in with crackers: Arrange water crackers and pumpkin-shaped crackers in small clusters around the board.
  5. Add the candy and sweets: Place chocolate-covered pretzels in a small pile next to the crackers. Scatter gummy worms around the board in a playful pattern. Add caramel popcorn in a separate small bowl or pile.
  6. Add fruits and vegetables: Tuck green grapes in small clusters between cheese and crackers. Place dried apricots in a small pile. Arrange baby carrots in a neat bundle near the edge.
  7. Drizzle and garnish: Drizzle honey over the brie wheel. Add a small spoonful of pumpkin butter next to the brie. Optionally, add plastic spider rings or bat decorations.
  8. Final check: Step back and look at the board. Fill any empty gaps with extra crackers or grapes. Add extra candy corn for color if needed.

Notes

Avoid placing sticky candy like gummy worms directly next to soft cheese to prevent sticking. Let brie sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving for creamier texture. Cube cheddar just before arranging to keep it from drying out. For a vegetarian version, skip the prosciutto and salami and add roasted red peppers or marinated artichokes.
